Introduction: School refusal is an important problem in adolescent psychiatry. However, little is known about the experience of school refusal among minority youth (migrants and minority ethnic groups). This study assesses how parents of various cultural backgrounds experience their adolescents’ school refusal.Method: This qualitative study is based on interviews of 11 parents of teenagers.
The meta-analysis of the treatment outcome studies of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anger-related problems in children and adolescents included 21 published and 19 unpublished reports.
The measurement of materials properties and the control of processing parameters is important for both materials development and quality control. Determination of these parameters is sometimes advantageous if done by means of microstructural characterisation as here additional information may be gained from the sample.
